There isn't any address search capability, except for the stored points of interest. Those sites are idiosyncratic, dependent on someone entering them ... somewhere (wherever it is they draw that from), and that means that there are some real holes in that data. Google Maps is superior in a lot of ways except for its need for a data connecti Not Ready for Prime Time (1 star) This app is not materially different from the free version. The limited search capacity is not sophisticated, and not just because of the data set. Results are displayed in a largely useless format. For example, search doesn't return results closest to your location or closest to the map view, but instead gives a list of global locations without a clear way to sort them.
