No more wondering "it is monday, which places are open today?" with the very handy itinerary tab, for days of the we Superlative dining guide (5 stars) As a full-time gourmand and part-time Rome resident, I am quite critical of Rome dining guides and there are very few trustworthy resources available. Rome for Foodies is undoubtedly one of them. Ms. Parla brings academic credentials (she has an advanced degree in Food History), practical knowledge, insider tips and an honest, accessible tone to her much-anticipated app. Rome for Foodies works brilliantly off-line and I cannot recommend this Great update to already good app (5 stars) Katie's recommendations are spot on and this updated version of the app greatly enhances what was already good. Better graphics and easier to navigate. Some of the photos illustrating the actual listings are a bit grainy, but hopefully that will get fixed soon. You are able to search by price, as well as location and the data is now available offline which is great for the data roaming charges.
