DescriptioniRail is a route planner for train journeys for your iPhone. Enter the departure and destination stations and iRail will show the times of the next few train services to take you to your destination anywhere in the UK and Europe.Clicking on one of these services will show you the individual journeys and supplements which make up the trip, the next level of detail being a list of all stops the trip will make. Any of this information can be emailed to a friend at the touch of a button. iRail also shows maps of the departure and destination stations along with a graphic of the journey's route. An editable history of all previous stations entered saves typing and train information can be displayed in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Danish, Polish or Turkish. Getting around Europe or just trying to get home iRail makes the journey easy. Please note: iRail displays only timetabled departures in the UK not Realtime information so it will not show delays or engineering works. Also, remember to use the local language station name in Europe. For example, the Italian name for Venice is "Venezia"! On iPhone 4 can't even perform a basic search for rail connection between Madrid and Seville. Save your money for an app that functions! Great! (4 stars) I was trying to figure out a difficult train connection. Tried many online searches from different web sites and could not make it work. Tried it on this app and they had the answer. Terrible (1 star) Hangs up. Awkward to use. Station maps too small to locate station.
