Skateboard Tricktionary by Dcypher Development
DescriptionHave you ever heard someone mention a skateboarding trick or term and wished you knew exactly what he/she was talking about? Are you new to skateboarding and just want to learn as much about the tricks and terms as you can? Skateboard Tricktionary is for you. With over 300 skateboarding tricks explained and terms defined, you should be able to find most everything you'd ever want to know about street, vert, and freestyle skateboarding (sorry, no pictures or movies). Each definition is presented as a web page with possibly up to several links to tap to give you further understanding of each trick or term. I plan to keep this application free (including any and all improvements). Why? Simple. I love to skate, and I'd like anyone and everyone who wants to learn about the sport to be able to. What's New in Version 1.02iPad ready!Customer ReviewsOk app (4 stars)Bon jivi did you just say skating is easy to learn? Cause i promise you it isnt. Ive been skating a couple years and its still hard to learn new things. Your probably not really skating if you think its easy. So how about you stop talking? Couple Mistakes (4 stars) First off, great app, but there are a few mistakes. "Mongo foot" on the app says you push off with you back foot. Its the other way around. When your mongo, you push with your front foot. I know that cause im naturally mongo and i get sh*t for it all the time. Also, the "Anchor Grind's" real name is a Willy Grind. Ive NEVER heard someone call it an anchor grind and ive been skating for ever...almost 9 years. Theres probab awesome (5 stars) very helpful for those who dont know skateboarding terms. it helped me a lot.
