The iPING putter app is wireless, so you can use it anywhere. Practice and improve at your favorite golf course, at home, or on the road. Every session provides immediate results - leading to more consistency in your stroke.

iPING's motion sensing technology:

- Analyzes your impact angle to improve putting mechanics

- Classifies your stroke rotation to match you with the PING putter model that makes you most consistent

- Measures the tempo of your stroke to improve control

- Compares your Consistency Scores with Tour pros and friends

Waste of money (1 star)
Big waste of money. $30 for a piece of plastic. Gives 3 readings, but doesn't provide any info to go with it. So, I have a 2-1 ratio.....now what? I love Ping, but this is a swing and a miss.

Doesn't Work (1 star)
Anyone want to buy a worthless $30 holder? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and still doesn't register a putt. Other apps that use motion sensing work. I had expected better from Ping. I have an iPhone 4s.

WFC (5 stars)
This App makes excellent use of the phone's technology. It's a great way to find a putter that really fits you as opposed to whatever looks or feels good at the moment. You don't have to buy a Ping putter to use it. Just examine its Ping recommendation and go with the shaft length, lie angle, amount of offset and where the shaft enters the clubhead and buy the brand of your choice.
