Using PlaceTag is fun and easy.

* Simply input the specific city, venue, or address, or search for a location (like a restaurant, gym, hotel, theater, or office) in PLACETAG. Then enter a timeframe you'll be there.

* You'll immediately see all other PLACETAG users whose whereabouts and timeframes match yours.

* You can chat, view profile pictures, add other users as Friends, arrange meet-ups, and so much more!

* A powerful security feature enables you to specify what, if anything, others see of your profile and specified locations. And because PLACETAG is not based on GPS technology (GPS is only used for finding your Points of Interest, Places, Locations etc.), you can be as visible or invisible as you wish depending on the preferences you set. For example, you can be invisible to your friends on your myFriends list at your selected location.

- As a security feature, visitors or friends who view your profile will not see the street number of the location you plan to visit.

Great concept (5 stars)
Interesting app, easy to use. Unfortunately you cant search for people. You mark locations where you usually go hangout and hope others go when you go. Would still like a search function to open up other food/bar locations I never been to. But it might defeat the purpose of why this app was created. Still, I feel this app has a lot of potential in the future. Download, try it out.
