Scan To PDF allows you to obtain images of documents from your camera or image library and convert them into great looking multi-page PDF files. The app includes a proprietary image processing algorithm that converts the color images taken from the camera into great looking black and white images. Once the PDFs are generated, you can export them via email, printer, or to any other app that accepts PDFs. In fact, printing the PDFs essentially turns the app into a copy machine. Scan to PDF includes many image processing tools such as rotation, crop, copy to clipboard, grayscale, and others.

If you have an efax service, Scan To PDF is a great way of inputing documents for faxing.

You can export images to the clipboard or image library for use in other apps.

Scan Needs More Quality (2 stars)
I downloaded this app to use as a fax replacement. The scanned image appeared acceptable, but after I sent it in an email to myself I noted very poor picture quality and the image in the PDF was upside down. The developer should have accessed the accelerometer functions in the iPad code to automatically orient the image based on the user perspective. I'll play around with the app more, maybe with some tweaking I can get higher quality. W

Pretty much useless on an iPad 2, meh UI (2 stars)
This app is pretty much useless on an iPad 2 because the camera is so horrible. The captured document is unreadable.

The UI, with all the candy flavored colors also looks very "un- iOS like". Wish the developer would update the UI so it looks more polished.

Very useful on the iPhone (5 stars)
I deleted all other scanning programs from my phone when I started to use this one. Very clear and works good with the fax program .
