Description

This application contacts earthquake.usgs.gov to download the latest list of 100 earthquakes.

This application was provided as sample code for iPhone developers. The code license states that developers may "modify and redistribute the Apple Software, with or without modifications, in source and/or binary forms." I took the liberty of fixing a few bugs in the sample code and increasing the number of earthquakes that are downloaded in the background. Enjoy and thank you Apple!

Note: If you get the message "RSS host not available" then the website may be unavailable or you need to reboot your device.

I get 'RSS host not available' 95% of the time. Really neat when it does actually work!

Update: The program works 100% if you connect to another web/email service first then use this immediately after. It seems that it cannot initiate it's own connection the first time.
