DescriptionPill Finder enables rapid identification of unknown solid-dosage medications (tablets/capsules) based on physical characteristics including: imprint (characters or number printed on a medication), shape, color, size, and scoring. Once a medication is identified, Pillbox provides high-resolution images of tablets and capsules (if available) as well as links to drug information and drug labels. Pillbox uses the National Library of Medicine's Pillbox API which is not intended for clinical use. The text in the icon is redundant, which is annoying if you like to have your screens look nice. Couldn't enter a space in the "imprint" search (whatever an imprint is, I don't know... it should have a small explanation). Nice app (3 stars) Nice app, but is vague on some pills. Just incase you dont know what "imprint" means,it is what is imprinted on the pill itself....letters/numbers Not impressed (1 star) Tried a search for a capsule form medication - "No pills found". OK, maybe it needs a color, let's try white - "No pills found". Hmmm, OK, let's try a known imprint, "7776" for Celebrex - "No pills found". Error in data entry? Clear all and start over - "201 of 14763 pills found". Only about 6 results showed an image of the pill, the rest showed "Image not available".
