This content is updated regularly, and the date it was last reviewed is at the bottom of each article, along with the reviewers name and credentials and all references. Articles also contain links to related content and medical illustrations with text that help to increase understanding visually.

Disappointed (2 stars)
OK for health care consumers. I find it too basic for health care providers, nurses, etc. This app interfaces with the U of M website, so an Internet connection is needed to use it. It is NOT a self-contained application.

Definitely a laymen tool (2 stars)
I'm a first year surgery resident and thought this might be a useful tool to have in my pocket as a medical database resource. But it is really too simplistic to be of any use to a doctor. I would imagine, however that it is quite useful to laymen and new nurses.

Some Improvement Needed (3 stars)
It needs a search function for the symptoms and the ability to mark symptoms so the database can give a disease(s) with the selected symptoms.
