Description

Roomie controls your home theater components from your iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch. Roomie is a universal remote supporting thousands of devices often via direct communication over your home network rather than requiring additional hardware. Roomie also provides a personalized TV guide, and shows live feedback for many devices with information like your receiver's volume.

• Fixed entry of some Insteon device IDs.
• Samsung TVs and Blu-ray Players may now be added via Manual IP in the rare event auto-discovery does not find them.
• Fixed automatic IP address updates for TiVos that changed name.
• Stop commands are no longer sent when activating the currently active Activity.

I've tried quite a few apps for this purpose, and I'm happy to say that Roomie is highly recommended. Setup a breeze compared to harmony remote (5 stars)
I've used a harmony remote for the last 3 years, and setup for a Pioneer A/V receiver, DirecTV, Panasonic blu-ray, apple TV, Xbox, and Wii was a hit or miss affair, taking many hours to tweak (configure on PC, download to remote, test, iterate xxx times). Great interface, easy to setup! (5 stars)
Have used Roomie for months now. It was very quick to setup and I had a working system in minutes although I already owned the adapters it uses, it has a real interface that looks like actual design went into it and didn't require any complex programming of remotes. In addition to the remote it adds a really nice TV guide. Have spent a lot on remotes over the years and feel I've finally settled on a solution that I can maintain, will keep up
