Here are the most important features of IntelliDrink: Complex algorithm for precise calculation of your BAC based on actual scientific knowledge. It does not only calculate the maximum BAC, but it also calculates the absorption and resorption of alcohol. Highly intuitive and simple user interface. Integrated guided tour. You can create multiple profiles and use them in parallel. It takes into consideration your age, weight, height, gender, drinking frequency and your feeling of hunger. All drinks can be modified You can create your own drinks. You can close the app at any time and your data is saved. The app does not continue to calculate in the background and therefore saves energy. You can specify when you had your drink. It has a drink history which gives you an overview of the drinks you had. You can customize or delete all drinks afterwards. The graph has scroll and zoom functions. The BAC alarm alerts you if you go below a certain value. Metric and imperial systems of units are available. BAC is given in percent and per mille units. A lot of effort was put into the algorithm for calculating the values. Most BAC calculators assume that you simply downed the drink you added and, even worse, they assume that you have already completely digested the drink. This certainly has nothing to do with how it really works. The core concept of IntelliDrink is based on the scientifically accepted Widmark formula, which is also used by the German justice system. With this formula, one can calculate how many grams of alcohol are responsible for the amount of blood alcohol concentration level in the human body. But this formula does not consider how long it takes you to drink a drink, at what level your feeling of hunger is at and how fast your absorption is. IntelliDrink takes all of these factors into consideration. On the basis of solid scientific research,a much more precise algorithm was developed which pleasantly visualized on a graph. Even when IntelliDrink offers a high standard on precision, the shown values can differ from reality and lead to false results.
