AeroRadar by gBosonApps
DescriptionThe AeroRadar Application is designed to help you determine key training parameters and be able to set known and achievable objectives for your training plan. This will permit you enhance your aerobic and anaerobic fitness, so that you can excel in your preferred sport. It estimates and determines a number of key training parameters, such as paces for training in the different training zones, estimate maximum VO2 uptake and lactic threshold pace and other useful data. It also suggests training volumes for the different zones, as well as session distances and session time. It supports sports, such as soccer, tennis, baskeball, middle and long distance runners and others. It is an excellent and easy tool to use. Built-in flexibility to interact with other gBosonApps sports training apps. Thus, the data generated by the AeroRadar App can be used in setting key parameters on the training drills. App Specific Features - Estimates from actual race data your maximum VO2 uptake and lactic threshold pace. - Predicts your best race times for several typical running distances, utilizing five models: > Purdys > Jack Daniels VO2 Max. > Dave Camerons > Pete Riegels > VO2 Max from test data - Based on the above models, it also gives the most likely low and high estimate of your race time. - Based on your age, it makes a fitness assessment for both the race data and test VO2. - Suggests for each primary training zone, for both race data and test VO2, the following info: > Range of session distance > Range of session time > Training paces > Weekly workout volume > Number of laps and lap split time for a given track or trail length - Calculates Daniel's reference VDot. - Calculates Purdy points for actual run times and distances. - Calculates run times for a given Purdy point and distance. - If test VO2 or race data is unavailable, you can estimate your maximum VO2 uptake and lactic threshold pace from a qualitative fitness assessment. You can modified some of the parameters used in the calculations by selecting the "Radar Settings". The parameters that can be changed are as follows: - Establish distance markers of your favorite track or trail for each training zone. - Set metric or US units. Advanced users can also modified: - Establish the %of VO2 max pace to delimit each training zone. - Set the estimated maximum time one can sustain running at the threshold pace. Visit the "Support" page on our Website for more information about the body's energy systems, maximum oxygen uptake, training concepts and other useful information.
