The rules are confusing at first, but after a few games they make perfect sense. This version still has some bugs, like having to press the back button multiple times to get back to the menu after a game. (If that's a feature, I don't get the purpose.) Also, easier access to important information would be useful. The solo game is fun, but adding AI would be a huge improveme Great little game (4 stars) The iPhone is a great little platform for board games, and this is a great little game. There is a tutorial to get you started, it's solo or multi-player, visually well done, and mostly intuitive and easy to use. I'll probably go buy the physical copy of the game because I've enjoyed this app so much. Great fun. Looking forward to an HD version. (4 stars) Almost feels like the tabletop game. I think it would benefit from an HD version that would display your goods and advancements at all times. I found myself forgetting what my civilization already had and then making silly mistakes. The x2 view is not too distracting on my iPad, but sharper graphics would look better of course. Definitely worth a few bucks.
