This will allow players to resign a single game sooner. Previously, the threshold was 1.001, and players could only resign a single game when a gammon was nearly impossible. Now, players can resign when the gammon chance is low. Note: Accepting a resignation offered under these circumstances isn't optimal but can speed the match up. This is totally untrue. The developer dispels this myth within the documentation on the APP and even allows you to (A) Preview the dice rolls before the game begins or (B) supply your own dice rolls. Either way the AI within the game is so good it is truly hard to beat. Beyond that, this backgammon APP is al One of the best on ANY platform (5 stars) Top-level neural net-based AI bot meets world-class iPad touch interface. What's not to like? This app is every bit as strong as the better desktop apps, but it's more enjoyable to play because you touch the pieces instead of clicking. The developer has established a pattern of regular improvements. A must-have for any serious backgammon player. Playing this game will improve your skill. It's money well spent. If you think the app First-rate backgammon app that does NOT cheat - Here's how I know (5 stars) When playing at the Expert level, Backgammon NJ will often play in a way that's unintuitive and looks too risky for the average player. Subsequently it will look like it got "lucky" and suddenly controls key positions on the board!
