Find My Friends allows you to easily locate your friends and family from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Install this free app on your iOS 5 device and sign in with the Apple ID you use with iCloud. Adding a friend is easy just send a request to see their location. Once your friend accepts using the Find My Friends app, you will then be able to see that friends location on a list or on a map.

You can also choose to share your location for a limited period of time with a group of friends.

Use Find My Friends to keep track of your traveling companions when youre on vacation. Or to see if the kids are home from school. Or to find the friends youre meeting for dinner.

Only change is for HD display. No other fixes :( (2 stars)
The only that's keeping this from being a 5 star app is the ability to pick and choose individually from your list of followers who to hide your location from. All you can do now is let everyone see your location or hide your location from everyone. Please make this simple fix and give us the option of who we share our location with, and when. I have many people that I would like to let them follow my location SOMETIMES, but I definitely do

this could be an amazing program if it told me who in my address book used the program. kind of like how Foursquare does.
rather than having to hunt through and blindly email everyone.
but such is the same for all iOS5 apps, such as iMessage, or even GameCenter
Apple wants to get in on Social, but they're lacking in connecting the dots

I have to admit that the concept of this app is great. The execution however is a giant fail. My wife and I thought this would be a great app for her to follow me when I'm working. I work for the government and am rarely in situations that allow me to answer my phone. She has often mentioned that she would love to at least know where I am.
