For Audiobook Lovers, A Perfect Replacement for iPad's Music App (5 stars)
With iOS 5 for iPad, Apple replaced the Audio app with the Music app and basically broke playback of multi-file audiobooks and removed a lot of functionality for playback of audiobooks and podcasts (such as 30 second rewind). This app essentially resorts a lot of the removed functionality to the iPad (despite the fact that it's an iPhone app) and that's what I use it for.

But it seems as if the app has been taken over by "cut your own throat" marketing firm. I would like to purchase the upgrade in iTunes but that is not available. If I upgrade on my iPhone do I also get the upgrade for my iPad and iPod? No way to tell. Very sad, I did enjoy using this app because it would handle both audiobooks and podiobooks with ease. The library comes straight from iTunes.it was great while it lasted.

The iOS 5 update eliminated most of the functionality for listening to audiobooks on my iPad - this fixes it AND ads the benefit of going back in time to listen to what you were listening to say at 11:35 am yesterday - that is pretty cool - like the 10 second incremental rewind fast forward too. Love that I can start listening in native music app and opening this app seamlessly continues and fully functions... May even keep this after they f
