Dear Readers,

I have spent a lot of time in cafes in San Francisco over the past few years. Whether pretending to work or meeting a friend, more often than not Ive been out at a cafe. After countless stops and thousands of shots of espresso, Ive managed to find the best cafes that are most emblematic of the city and their respective neighborhoods. I made this app to share them with you.

Armed with a Leica M9, Ive taken retina-worthy high-resolution shots at each stop and written a bit about my experiences at each cafe. I believe after browsing this app you will have an accurate feel for each place. Heavily curated and thought over, my goal was to provide you with a quality guide useful for both veterans and newcomers to the SF cafe scene.
