X-Anatomy is a cross-sectional human anatomy interactive medical imaging atlas.

X-Anatomy includes multiple sets of CT scan images covering the major sections of the body. You can scroll through the cross sectional image sets just as a radiologist views a patient's scan. Touch on a structure - a vessel, muscle, organ, bone, or anatomic space - and X-Anatomy will identify that structure for you. As you continue to scroll through the images, X-Anatomy will continue to identify and track that structure for you as the structure occupies or traverses through that part of the body. If needed, you can also locate an anatomic structure by name by accessing a complete index.

X-Anatomy was developed, tested, and has already been used in clinical practice by physicians, and is intended for use by all physicians and residents, nurses, imaging technologists, physical therapists, and all health care personnel and biomedical-related scientists who need a cross sectional human anatomy reference. X-Anatomy is designed to be educational, useful for all students of anatomy including medical students, nursing students, x-ray/CT/PET/MRI technology students, as well as undergraduate and post graduate students in the life sciences or biomedical related fields.
