It seems accurate, though my difficulty in knowing for sure is that there is no way to put in an exact lat/long position. It would be great if somehow that could be added rather than just by finger touching, which is not precise enough for indication wind force and direction on the open sea. Love this app (4 stars) It helps me plan my car-free life. Glad to have found it. Only complaint: I wish, instead of having to plunk the pin in the map every time, it would default to the location I last used, or let me preprogram a location or two. Still, this app's become indispensable to me.
