DescriptionWMV Player - designed for both the iPhone and iPad - the app that plays wmv files- Plays wmv files attached in emails, directly from your Mail, Open In...wmv player - Plays most wmv files from websites - Plays wmv files stored on your computer - Saves files downloaded in app to play instantly again - Use Dropbox to view files (new feature) - Bookmark favorite websites and more... A 'Home' page has been designed which allows you to scroll between the apps various features with ease: Web browser - surf the web just like using safari Favorites - bookmark your favorite websites/set home page Saved Media - lists your saved media files to instantly play again Downloader - check the status of files being downloaded PC Sync - use iTunes to sync your wmv files from your PC to the app Dropbox - play larger files through dropbox Settings - Lock rotation ON/OFF, Email support, Rate App, Share app with friends, Push Notifications ON/OFF Playing files that are attached in your Mail: Open your Mail on your device and download the attachment. Once downloaded click on the file to bring up the option to 'Open In...' (open in wmv player). This will open the app and start the process of converting the file to be played. Playing files from websites: WMV Player is an application that allows you to play wmv files from websites - using the app's fully functional web browser, come across a video file in wmv format, click on the file and the app will convert the file to be played. **Please note that there are wmv files that are DRM (Digital Rights Management) protected and the app does NOT play these. Also the app does NOT play files in a streaming format from the web which also include wmv files that are in .asf format. We are working on allowing the app to play streaming files which we aim to be releasing very soon! Saving files: The app has additional features allowing you to 'Save' the file for instant viewing at any other time without having to convert again. Once the app has 'uploaded' the file the app gives you the option for you to 'Save Media'. Once saved you can access your file in the 'Saved Media' section on the app's Home screen. Files that can be played: The app is able to play, wmv, wma, mpeg, mpg and flv files We are continually working on enhancing the quality and speed of the wmv conversion. Using a high speed wi-fi rather than your internet providers network can help to speed up the process of the conversion. If you have a problem with the app, most times this can be fixed by deleting the app and re-installing it. It worked the couple times I used it. Since 5.0 it never has worked and that is after several deletions and re-installs. That is what their support tells you to do. So today when I saw an update I thought they had it fixed to work with 5.0. Well it doesn't work at all.Downloads the wmv. And starts to play it but only plays a second or two of it and stops. Tried it on several differe Garbage (1 star) Do not buy!!!! Waste of money!!!! Does not work! Would rate zero stars if I could. trash (1 star) does not work, i should of believed the reviews. Dont do like I did, don't waste your time or money.
