Gorgeous, simple IM app (4 stars)
This is a fantastic app for instant messaging. Everything is gorgeous, and it works exactly like you would expect an iOS app to work.

In a future update, I'd love to see support for generic Jabber accounts. I also sort of wish that the left-hand navigation (buddy list) would stay visible even when the iPad is in portrait mode. I really don't need all that space just for the conversation, but this is a minor inconvenience.

This is regarding google talk/chat.

This app could be 5 stars with 3 changes, two of which are SIMPLE to implement. Verbs is visually pleasing, effective, reconnects quickly, but is has the following flaws:

First, it has trouble staying connected in the background (yes, I have the pro update) and does not notify me when it loses connection. It should automatically reconnect when I open the app. Isn't it safe to assume that
