PODCASTS (New in version 5.5)
Listen to more than 16,000 (and growing) podcasts in the catalog, including radio shows, music, audio books, and virtually any topic worth talking about! Pocket Tunes Radio automatically downloads your subscribed podcasts and makes it super simple to listen to the ones you want to hear. Many podcasts can also be played in the background while you use other apps.

RECORDING
Record your favorite stations to playback later. This is great for news shows that you want to listen to at a later time or when you want to listen to radio when you don't have an Internet connection, like on the plane or subway. While playing back, you can skip forward and back to skip past songs and commercials you don't want to hear.

STATIONS NEAR YOU
Pocket Tunes Radio lets you search for stations based on your current location using the GPS technology in your iPhone.

SELECTION (Now over 23,000 streams!)
The pre-populated station catalog can be browsed by genre and by country. You can select from over 23,000 streams (including popular stations like KCRW, Hot 97, etc., ...) or browse the web to add even more. The catalog is continually updated and will automatically grow as new stations are added. For convenience, you can even hide groups of stations that aren't of interest to you.

BACKGROUND PLAYBACK
MP3 and AAC+ stations (and many podcasts) can be played in the background while you run other applications on your iPhone or iPod touch.

INTELLIGENCE
To maximize playback quality, stream speed is automatically selected for you based on whether a wifi or Edge/3G network is being used.

Know the station you are looking for? Enter a keyword on the search tab to search the entire catalog of stations, by city, state, country, call sign, or frequency. You can even search within a group of stations, and filter the results by station tags.

NOTE about Sirius/XM: Sirius/XM have recently changed their streaming format to use Flash technology. As you may know, Apple does not allow Flash on their devices. Due to this, Pocket Tunes no longer support playback of Sirius/XM stations. Sirius/XM provide a free iPhone player that you may find useful.

What's New in Version 5.5.8

Version 5.5.8 fixes some uncommon crashes at startup or when playing certain recordings and podcasts.

Sirius changed their web player, not pocket tunes fault. Be patient this just happened within the last week. Give them time to address it. Some of you people just amaze me.

What happened to the satelite radio connection? No longer working!

Don't (1 star)
Wow, what a complete waste of money. It couldn't even play a third of the stations it found. I would suggest looking at TuneIn Radio instead.
