Users upgrading to iOS5 - please note
Currently, using Vtok on iOS5, you will notice that the app may get killed at times while backgrounded. This because of certain changes coming with ios5. We are working to fix this as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and support for Vtok.
Please enable sounds and alerts for Vtok from under Settings -> Notifications -> Vtok.

Vtok users can call users of Google Video and Voice Chat users on a Mac or a PC. All they have to do is install a browser plugin from: http://www.google.com/chat/video

Invite your friends to use Vtok
Please use the "Invite Contacts" option from under settings to invite your friends by sending them an email to download Vtok. Also, please use the "+" sign above the contact list to add new contacts.

Vtok is an application that interoperates with Google Video and Voice Chat and Google Voice but is not endorsed by Google.
Unlimited phone calls and SMS are for US users and you must have a Google Voice account to use this service.
Incoming SMS messages need to be manually refreshed from the Recents tab.
International call rates apply as dictated by the Google Voice service.

Privacy
Please be assured that we DO NOT use your username and password for anything other than authenticating you with Google. And they are also sent to Google on a secure channel. Vtok has no knowledge of your credentials outside the app.

It works when it wants to. I think it gives incorrect statuses. Every contact I see is offline when on my computer it says they are online
