Disappointing (1 star)
Unlike 'Food & Wine', 'The New Yorker', 'Vanity Fair' and most other magazines I subscribe to, 'Saveur' charges print subscribers to access the digital version of their magazine. Their double charging greed is a huge disappointment.

Don't download if you already get the print version (1 star)
Savuer expects you to pay for an iPad subscription even though you subscribe to the print version. This is not typical. None of the Martha Stewart magazines do.

Paying extra for iPad access is not worthwhile because the electronic version is not enhanced. In the MSO publications recipes include videos, advertisements link to additional information, and material in different parts of the print version are hot linked together. Sav

Price absurdity (2 stars)
So I can subscribe monthly at $1.99 an issue for 9 issues a year, which equals $17.91. Or, I can subscribe annually for the same 9 issues at $19.99? Someone there forgot the usual mode of business where loyalty and commitment gets a discount...
